  I have been using Vecar for about 20 years. One or twice a year I rent for 1 week at time.The cars are not brand new but the price is competitive. With other word "you get what you pay for". In total Vecar is still cheaper then the airport car rental companies. The service is very much OK.

  I had rent the Fabia II Combi and Octavia by Vecar three times. It was without any problem. The cars are not exactly new but they are OK and very cheap. We didn't have any troubles with it.

  HORIBLE AND SKETCHY! !!! UNSAFE! !!! DOES NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR, ZERO WOULD BE MORE APROPPRIATE. STAY AWAY FROM VECAR PRAHA!!!! DON'T GET FOOLED BY LOW PRICE THEY ADVERTISE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. IF YOU ARE TOURIST VISITING PRAG AND CZECH REPUBLIC YOU SHOULD BE WARNED TO AVOID UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL BUSINESS LIKE THIS ONE. After they confirmed over the phone and 2 times via email that they have vehicles ready to rent for the dates I requested on their online application I canceled my previous arrangements and took taxi to their address. FIRST WARNING SIGN.... There is NO OFFICE !!!!! . NO BUSINESSES SIGN..... NOTHING!!!!! You must go to the second or third floor of an apartment building and then INSIDE their apartment!!!!! They quickly make copies of your passport and other documents and then when you ready to pay for the week upfront they went to the other room and you can hear whispering that goes on for several minutes then they ask you more questions back to the other room AND more whispering. Then they let you know that one car has broken brakes and it is not safe to drive and the other they promised may not be available and all kinds of excuses. I just left. WAISTED MY TIME AND MONEY AND CANCELED PREVIOUS RESERVATION WITH AN OTHER COMPANY. After I left I realized how many things could have gone wrong. Good thing is they didn't get access to my credit cards. Besides waisting my time and money VECAR PRAHA WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INSULTING. Their unprofessional behavior caused some difficulties and delays in my traveling. My advice to you is if you are a tourist visiting Prag and Czech Republic STAY AWAY FROM VECAR PRAHA , Svatovítská 682/7, Dejvice. I understand that there are some sketchy businesses you may come across when traveling. Well now you know this is one of them.
