  Wonderful for children good explanation of all the animals very hilly in parts but miniature train to take you up the steep hills beautiful on a summer's day

  Fantastic place for spending time with children and whole family. You can see lions, tigers and bear.

  Even in winter the ZOO is worth visiting for its wide variety of interesting animals such as different species of big cats, exotic birds, reptiles, and marine animals. The advantage of visiting in winter is that it is not crowded, though it also means that most of the shops are closed and some animals used to warm climate are not to be seen in their enclosures. Although we enjoyed the visit we did not like the attitude of the staff, which is the reason for at most three stars.

  good day out even during winter season. Few animals than usual but still worthwhile to visit. Can't wait to come back in spring.
