  There is plentiful free parking 100m down the road. Good public transport links. Be prepared for a walk, the zoo is on the side of a hill! All the animals look happy enough with big enough enclosures. Not a massive zoo, but more than big enough for a brilliant trip!

  Very nice zoo on a hill with cool Beringia exposition. Brown and polar bears, wolverines and mzny others.

  Great place to spend a day, particularly with kids. Plus the Zoo is dog-friendly, so take your best friend with you as well. Beautiful surroundings and animals habitats (Beringia, Savanah,..). Note there is very limited space for parking, I fully recommend taking tram or bus, the tram stop is 5min walking.

  Even in winter the ZOO is worth visiting for its wide variety of interesting animals such as different species of big cats, exotic birds, reptiles, and marine animals. The advantage of visiting in winter is that it is not crowded, though it also means that most of the shops are closed and some animals used to warm climate are not to be seen in their enclosures. Although we enjoyed the visit we did not like the attitude of the staff, which is the reason for at most three stars.

  good day out even during winter season. Few animals than usual but still worthwhile to visit. Can't wait to come back in spring.
