  I have crossed under this gate many times now but I have not gone up yet. But going under you can't help to think how many people died here during si many invasions ? Hitler was here and we all know what kind of activities he did here and all of the surrounding areas, Russia took ownership of this place as well. I do feel sad to know this history and happy to see that this republic is now that, a free Republic of Czech!

  Beautiful tower that takes you back in time. Its almost surreal to see this tower in the middle of a more modern area. You can take pictures from the ground or climb the tower for a better view of the surroundings. ;)

  Walking up was very fun and it got me a little dizzy in the end. There is not much space on the top but there were not so many people as I have experienced before in lookout towers in Prague. You should definitely come here in the evening.
