  #idiom [id-ee-uh m] noun an expression whose meaning is not predictable from the usual meanings of its constituent elements, as kick the bucket or hang one's head, or from the general grammatical rules of a language, as the table round for the round table, and that is not a constituent of a larger expression of like characteristics. a language, dialect, or style of speaking peculiar to a people. Slovak artist, Matej Krén, created this book sculpture, called #Idiom, which can be found in the entrance of the Prague Municipal Library at Mariánské náměstí, near the Old Town Square. He used mirrors to give the illusion of infinity.

  An extremely nice library. I'm a part time local so make use of the library with my wife often. Good for study from books rather than computer. There is nice cafe onsite and clean toilets (cost of 10 kc). A nice tower of books in entrance to library.
