  The church was built perhaps in the 13th century , when the Zderaz suburb was founded, or in Jirchari. The original structure seems to be today's side boat. After the founding of the New Town, the church was extended to the main ship, 1367 is reminded of the fara and 1413 school. In the years 1671-1693 it was rebuilt in baroque style, the chapel of St. Crosses and sacristy, changed windows and facades. In 1874-1876 it was repaired, the presbytery was regrouped and new organs were acquired. There was no regaining of the ship

  Nádherná stavba, kde je gotika starší boční lodi harmonicky prolnuta do barokního slohu. Kostel ze 13. století je stranou hlavních turistických tras, a vlastně ani nevím, jestli je to dobře nebo špatně. Na jednu stranu by si takový skvost mělo prohlédnout co nejvíc lidí, na druhou - ten božský klid, kdy můžete nasávat atmosféru i uprostřed odpoledne, a mine vás maximálně pár procházejících místních. Další adept do soutěže "nejukrytější pražská památka". A beautiful building where the older Gothic side boat is harmoniously blended into the Baroque style of the main body. The 13th century church is a side of the main tourist trails, and I do not even know if it is good or bad. On one hand, as many people as possible should see that beauty, on the other you can enjoy the atmosphere even in the middle of the afternoon, and you meet only few locals. Another adept in the contest "the most beautiful Prague monument". Love it.

  Gotický barokně přestavěný kostel, kulturní památka. Kostel vznikl ve 13. století, později barokně přestavěn, různé slohy můžete pozorovat na oknech kostela, střídají se zde gotická a barokní. Vedle kostela stojí samostatně zvonice, která byla založena spolu s kostelem a hřbitovem , avšak doznala velkých změn. Zezadu kostela se vchází do Foersterovy síně, kde se pořádají koncerty. V tomto kostele byl varhaníkem Antonín Dvořák, což připomíná pamětní deska na kostele.
