  I booked this hostel looking at the good rating and reviews it had but my overall experience was extremely bad. In fact I honestly believe all the good reviews about this place have been written here by the hostel owner/ staff or their friends since it is extremely bad and filthy + the hostel staff and owner are extremely unprofessional, rude and arrogant. I think this is the first time I'll be writing such a negative review but trust me this hostel deserves it - save yourself and your trip by avoiding this hostel. Firstly if you book this hostel, it'll take you a lot of time to figure out the building since there are no boards/ signs anywhere. After you finally figure out the hostel building, you'll again be disappointed since it's a small, dirty building and it seems that no one has ever bothered to clean it. Also, there is no lift and the reception is on the third floor so be prepared to carry your luggage to the third floor by yourself. The reception desk is apparently open from 12pm to 8pm only (unlike other hostels, it is not 24*7 operational; also they have mentioned 24*7 on their website which is absolutely false). We reached the hostel around 8:30am and gave a call to Mariya (owner) to see if we can check in early, she refused which was understandable and told us that the receptionist would be in by 12pm and that's the check in time so we can get into the rooms at 12pm - I confirmed my reservation for a twin private room and she was sure that the keys to it will be handed over to me at 12pm. We again messaged her up at 12:15pm since there was no one in by then and after 30 min she replied back telling us that the receptionist is busy today and that she would be late. She sounded so casual as if this is completely fine. We had no choice then so we just waited for another 55 min. Because of this we ended up wasting a lot of time and could not see much on our first day in Prague. The receptionist finally came at 1:10pm and announced happily that we don't have any rooms because we generally take an extra booking in case someone cancels- I was shocked, this is not the way hostels operate by booking extra people. I tried to reason with the receptionist but she just kept giving me the same excuse and was laughing/ smiling the whole time as if this was a joke. We asked her if she could help us to find another accommodation since we had already wasted around 5 hours here and we had no idea about the place but she looked non interested and totally unconcerned. We even asked her that if this was the case and they didn't have any rooms then why did Mariya not tell us anything and after listening to this she just kept laughing and saying that I don't know. Guys please save yourself and stay away from this hostel. Anyway the place has 2 washrooms out of which one was out of order + the female washroom (the only one that was operational) was super small and stinking very badly. I am not even sure if it was cleaned everyday since it was mentioned that cleaning happens from 10 to 12 but nobody came in when we were there for 5 hours + the washroom was stinking. The hostel has no common area/ room where one can sit properly if they arrive early or if the receptionist is late. Overall if you want a comfortable and smooth stay in Prague, this hostel is a big 'NO'.
