The hostel is decent for the price you pay, but do not expect anything special here. We arrived at night and it was a little bit hard to do the check in since there was no one in reception, even being on time according to their schedule and we had to call them and wait.

Rooms were in need of some repair, luckily we could swap some mattresses and had a fairly good sleep. There is a bar downstairs, but was so crowded we never got to have a drink. Nothing else going on at the hostel.

For the price it was good! I was overall satisfied so I don't want to be unfair. If there was an option to give 3,5 stars that's what I would give this hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful; nice ladies and plus I could bring my dog in a private room. I understand that since they allow pets the carpets would be stained, I understand this, but then, why bother putting a carpet down? A linoleum floor cover would be better and cheaper/easier to clean. As some others complained, the hostel's layout and infrastructure is indeed a bit strange (see previous reviews) and could use a hand of improvement. In the toilets I found toilet paper and soap, so from what I see they try to take care of the place. Someone mentioned a "bed bug infestation". I don't know if it was dehydration or the bedsheets, but I would often feel like something was biting me at night. I really do hope it wasn't bedbugs because I couldn't see anything!
