::Despite they now occupy premises only on one floor and not on two like before (and the range of goods visibly decreased because of that), it’s still a very good supermarket to buy food or household products. They also have a good selection of newspapers and magazines including the options in other languages (English, German, French, Russian etc) and there is a small section with women’s clothes, bags and shoes. In addition, they often offer temporary discounts for different items (food, beverages, personal care products and so on - depending on a particular offer).

::I can recommend Tesco. Always fresh bread and fresh veggies / fruits. Foreigners will find plenty of foreign products from their home country's and a lot of "akce" (discount) on good products. If you have question they'll answer you and the most of them speak at least a bit English. I can recommend Tesco but try to go before 16.00 or after 19.00 because rush hour in Tesco is crazy.

::This Tesco was a welcome sight on my trip to Prague it's always nice to see a shop that we have back in the UK however the bread rolls in the Tesco were mixed in with some bread rolls with meat on the top and I'm a vegetarian so I found this quite strange maybe they don't care in Prague or one of the members of staff at simply got it wrong there was some good offers on with drinks

::They have really wide selection of food, including many ethnic cuisines, reasonable prices and often good sales, but maybe precisely because of that they are sometimes out of stock on basic items like chicken breasts etc.. Inside the supermarket there is a very cheap fast food where you can get various roasted meats and some other food mostly by weight, very cheaply.
