  Quite old. Needs a serious renovation. But well located. The station staff is overall ok and ready to help

  The place is absolutely rundown, dirty, and poorly managed. Brno deserves better.

  Only passed through on the way to Budapest but this station looked absolutely horrendous. Surely not something the Czech people would be proud of.

  Ok, the building might be in need of a little renovation, but as a tourist I've always felt perfectly safe there. I have looked around to see if I can spot the junkies and homeless people others describe, but I haven't seen any in daytime, at least. The biggest problem for me has always been that many of the staff have a poor grasp of English, but it's always worked out fine. The "underground passage" might have the odd homeless persons, but I've never seen them bother anyone.
