  The new terminal is kinda cute but, so far, severely lacking in facilities - though the few that exist are OK. I don't smoke but if you do then don't rely on the 'Duty Free Shop' - they don't sell cigarettes or rolling tobacco ... never known that anywhere else. On arrival, lack of coins means lack of coffee - or anything else. Machine only. There is a handy bus ticket dispenser which accepts Credit/Debit cards and a day ticket for Pardubice costs less than a cup of coffee and bus 90 whisks you to the railway station, where you can blow more than the price of a days transportation on an expresso in Costa (Lotta). On departure, the toilets are plentiful and clean, the seating reasonably comfortable, security over-zealous - they confiscated my small nail scissors which were well within legal limits and have been accepted at dozens of airports throughout Europe - and information on my delayed flight was totally lacking. All that said, it's a handy little airport for people from the region and, with the excellent Czech rail system, Pardubice is well and easily connected to almost everywhere in Czech Republic.

  Včera jsem měla možnost letět z Pardubického letiště a už nikdy více. Celý proces odbavení je jedna velká katastrofa. 1) Paní na přepážce je arogantní. Nechápu jak je možné cestujícím tykat, toto opravdu není vhodné. 2) Pas a letenka byla kontrolovaná celkem 4x. Z toho 3x v průběhu 5 metrů. Například v Praze je pas zkontrolován pouze jednou. 3) Policisté chtějí evakuovat odletovou halu, když cestující ve frontě na check-in stojí 40cm od svého zavazadla. 4) Šíleně pomalá bezpečnostní kontrola, hlavně, že 3 zaměstnanci kontrolují jeden pas a jednu letenku. 5) Otřesná nabídka občerstvení v bufetu. Voda, ktera v nejmenovaném obchodním řetězci stojí 5 korun jde zde prodávána za 45 korun! Takto drahé to není ani v Praze! 3 dny starou bagetu, která je zde nabízená by nejedl ani pes! 6) V podstatě nulové hlášení a informace, byl pouze jednou zahlášen nástup a ještě tomu bylo stěží rozumět. Hlavně, že jedna z celých dvou (!) tabulí byla vyplá. Hlavně, že celý večer se musí cestující koukat na nudné a trapné reklamy! 7) V průběhu boardingu zaměstnanci zhasli v odletové hale a cestující tak museli čekat a stát ve tmě. Zřejmě v rámci úspor. 8) Vybíraní přiručních zavazadel byla také jedná velká komedie. Zavazadla jsou označována ještě před bezpečnostní kontrolou, což by být nemělo a vybírána jsou při nástupu do autobusu, kde zamestnanci pobíhají jak zmatení. 9 Nedokáži si představit, že by nějaký starší pan či paní měli nastupovat do autobusu. Přede dveřmi do autobusu jedna veliká kaluž. Být ledovka a námraza tak je nástup do autobusu opravdu, ale opravdu o zdraví. 10) Otřesná jízda autobusem k letadlu. Zaměstnanci se dohadují kdo a jakým autobusem pojede. Nulová organizace. Po tomto otřesném zážitku jsem se rozhodla si koupit letenku zpět raději do Prahy.

  I had a great experience flying from Pardubice to London few days ago. As a person living on the outskirts of Prague, I was better off (both time-wise and financially) to fly from Pardubice instead of Prague airport. I hope that this airport becomes low-cost hub for Czech Republic once the new terminal is opened. It has perfect location - 1 hour away from Prague and 1 and half hours away from Brno. I believe this should be stressed out a bit more on the marketing side, especially to foreigners who does not know how convenient & cheap it is to get a train from this airport to all major cities in Czech Republic and beyond. Although I undrestand some negative reviews here, especially those related to the unsuitable terminal and lack of parking, it is necessary to point out that new modern terminal together with free parking lot will be opened in January 2018.

  It's only a very small airport so don't expect too much. The staff were friendly and the check-in process quick. But there are few signs coming into the airport. One directing you to the car park for instance. The car park us an absolute disgrace. 10 cm of mud in grass field! It doesnt exactly encourage business users. It ruined my shoes!

  Too slow. Flight time 2 hour and 2 hour of border control! The slowest airport in the world. Awful.
